Sir Kenneth Macmillan
Sir Kenneth Macmillan created over 60 ballets in a 40-year career. He was the Artistic Director of The Royal Ballet from 1970 to 1977, and its Principal Choreographer from 1977 to 1992.
Many of his ballets are still performed today, especially his 3 act story telling ballets like Romeo and Juliet and Manon.
